“Serving our community with open hands” is not a slogan. Here is what it looks like on a weekday.
Summer lunches for kids
Each summer Monday we serve lunch to the boys and girls attending the Johnson County Boys & Girls Club day camp next door. The camp is free for Trafalgar families, and so is lunch.
Families: to register a child (ages 5 through 6th grade), call the Boys & Girls Club at 317-736-3695.
Amphitheater parking that gives
The Trafalgar Amphitheater is right next door to our church. On event nights we open our parking lot for $5 a car, and every dollar is donated to a local ministry, like Lord’s Locker here in Trafalgar.
Park with us and your five bucks feeds a neighbor.
Neighbors helping neighbors
We pray for this town by name, show up for its families, and partner with the people already doing good here. If you know a need in Trafalgar, we want to hear about it.
Want to help?
Every one of these ministries runs on volunteers: hands to serve lunches, friendly faces for parking nights, and a coordinator or two. You do not need to be a longtime member. You just need a Monday or an evening.
